What We Help Clients With

Many people think Medicare planning is simply choosing an insurance plan. In reality, there are many important decisions that can have long-term financial consequences. We help clients understand their options, avoid costly mistakes, and develop a Medicare strategy tailored to their healthcare needs and retirement goals.

Our approach is educational, objective, and personalized. We work with multiple insurance carriers and help clients choose the solution that best fits their circumstances.

Email Introduction

Introduce a Client

The best way to introduce us is by email. For compliance and client preference reasons, we generally do not reach out to prospective Medicare clients unless they have initiated contact or have been introduced in a way that allows them to respond directly.

Once you introduce us by email and copy our office, we will reply with our calendar link so the client can schedule when ready.

Introduction Timing

When Should You Introduce a Client?

Clients Turning 65

Please introduce clients no sooner than six (6) months before their 65th birthday month.

This provides plenty of time to educate the client, coordinate enrollment, and ensure all deadlines are met without beginning the process unnecessarily early.

Clients Delaying Medicare Because They Are Still Working

If a client postponed Medicare because they remained covered under an active employer group health plan, please introduce them no sooner than six (6) months before their employer coverage will end.

Clients Already Enrolled in Medicare

We are happy to meet with clients who:

  • Want a second opinion.
  • Are moving to another state.
  • Need to review their current Medicare coverage.
  • Have questions about Medicare or their existing plan.

These introductions may be made at any time.

  • The client is losing employer coverage and is eligible for Medicare.

We cannot assist if...

Early Conversations

More Than Six Months Out?

No problem. After you introduce us by email and copy our office, the client may schedule a 25-minute introductory call where we will:

  • Explain how Medicare works.
  • Discuss what to expect.
  • Answer general questions.
  • Explain the Medicare planning timeline.

When the client reaches the six-month planning window, we will begin the full planning process.

Advisor Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I introduce you?

The easiest and most effective method is an introductory email. Simply introduce us to your client via email and copy our office. Once we are included in the email thread, we will respond with a brief introduction and our scheduling link so the client can book an appointment at their convenience.

This keeps the client in control of whether and when to engage, while keeping the advisor as the sender of the introduction.

Does it cost my client anything to work with you?

No. We do not charge clients a fee for Medicare planning.

Our guidance is provided at no additional cost to the client. We help them understand Medicare, compare their options, and make an informed decision without charging a separate planning fee.

How do you get paid?

If a client chooses to enroll in a Medicare plan through our office, we are compensated by the insurance company.

The client does not pay us directly, and the premium is not increased because they work with us. Our role is to help the client understand their options, avoid costly mistakes, and receive ongoing support after enrollment.

Do I need to attend the meetings?

You are always welcome to attend. If this is your first Medicare introduction, we encourage you to join the meeting to become familiar with our process and see how we educate clients.

Most advisors find that after attending one or two meetings, they are comfortable allowing us to work directly with future introductions. However, you are welcome to join any meeting whenever you feel it would benefit the client.

Do you offer other insurance products?

Yes. In addition to Medicare, we are licensed to assist clients with Long-Term Care Insurance, Life Insurance, and Disability Insurance.

We do not actively market these products to Financial Advisor referrals. However, if you would like us to assist one of your clients with any of these needs, we are happy to do so.

If you are licensed in the applicable state, we will pay you 25% of the earned commission for these products.

Do you pay referral fees for Medicare clients?

Not at this time. Our commitment is to provide exceptional service, timely communication, and ongoing support so your clients receive an outstanding experience that reflects well on both of our firms.
